CTC Challenge #64

Caseing The Catty Blog Hop #64 - Caseing Sale-A-Bration

Great challenge - showcase your favourite Sale-A-Bration inspiration. Well, there are actually 2 challenges involved in this one ... Firstly, choose ONE favourite project from the Sale-A-Bration brochure (argh, so many to choose from!), then begin your creation. I toiled over this for days but I'm pretty chuffed with my final product (the colour scheme is actually from a colour challenge #PPA285, Pals Paper Arts).

I realise my project is quite far from the original challenge design but that's the fun in CASEing something. I've taken inspiration from the square shape card base, textured background and keeping the elements quite central. I'm so pleased with how the textured lace background turned out. A little fiddly to apply but totally worth the effort!

Here are the supplies you would need to CASE my welcome baby tip top lace card:

You'll notice the Go Wild DSP paper stack - I've used a piece for the background on my card. I've also used Clear Wink of Stella to give the baby clothes some sparkle however you may not see that in my photo.
Hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I have!

  1. Fabulous CASEing Krissy! Your sweet baby card perfectly highlights how two projects can have many common design elements, but look totally different. Love the taupe & pink colour palette too. 🙂

    1. Thanks again Liz, I’m loving all of these challenges. It really makes you think outside of your comfort zone. The work that you all (Design Team) do is very inspirational.
