CTC#104 – Petals & Paisleys

CASE-ing The Catty #104 – Petals & Paisleys

CTC sunday Blog hop header

Welcome to this Sunday night’s CTC blog hop. Tonight we are looking at pages 46 – 49 of the Holiday Catalogue, Petals & Paisleys. I am a big fan of this bundle. In fact, one of my swaps for #OnStage2016 featured the Paisleys & Posies stamp set. If you haven’t yet purchased this bundle, make sure you do!! Firstly, I’ll show you my project for this week, and at the end of my post I’ll show you my swap.

My card this week is for a very special occasion. Today just so happens to be Elizabeth Gross’s birthday! In case you didn’t know, Liz is my Stampin’ Up upline, as well as one of my most  favourite friends. Here’s my Petals & Paisleys inspired project, and Lovely Liz’s birthday card!…

The balloons have been stamped using mask’s made from the Balloon Bouquet punch. It’s a little fiddly because you have to swap & change between the balloon cut-outs and the negative space masks as you stamp each balloon. However I think the overall outcome is totally worth it. If you are going to try this one don’t forget your little post-it notes, you’ll need them!

As promised, my swaps from #OnStage2016? Also used a mask technique for the oval shape. I’m in love with stamping paisleys in masked shapes. Will never grow tired of it!

Well that’s it from me this week. Below is a list of supplies you might need to CASE my Night of Navy birthday balloon card. Next up is our super clever Kiwi – Jackie!

    1. Thanks Kelly, that’s probably one of the nicest comments I’ve received. I’m so please you purchased the set – you’ll love it!

    1. Thank you Liz, I’m so pleased you liked it. We’re lucky to be able to use Stampin’ Up products to show each other just how much we care, and how valued your friendship is to me.

  1. Wow! Krissy, you have so much patience to come up with these beautiful cards. Love the balloons in the first one and the clever masking in the second. Great examples for that stamp set.
