CASE-ing The Catty #105 – Fancy Frost
Hello Hello! Lovely to see you here. This week I tried something a little different with my project. We’re taking inspiration from the Fancy Frost section of the Holiday Catalogue, and there is a sweet card on page 36 I wanted to CASE. In Fact, I liked the card so much there wasn’t a great amount of features I wanted to change.
Here’s a closer look at that lovely card on the right! As you can see, the sketch/layout is great; very versatile. The two colours are so elegant together and I love the embossed medallion.
I didn’t think too much about it, I just jumped right in and started chopping & sticking, and it wasn’t until I had completed the card that I realised perhaps the sweet sugarplum circle of colour could have been sponged on the Fancy Frost Specialty DSP? I actually used a piece of sweet sugarplum card stock cut out using the Layering Circle Thinlits. Either way works well, don’t you think? To be honest, I don’t actually know if that assumption is correct or not. Not to worry, I’m very happy with my card! Would you like to see it??
If you are looking to try CASE-ing this card too, you’ll need these supplies:
Thanks so much for checking out my card this week. You can now choose to visit Elizabeth’s blog (previous) or click next and see what Simone has created. Either way, be sure to hop along until the very end.
Add you very own CASE here and join in the weekly challenge fun!
