CTC#148 – Kits and Memories & More

CASE-ing The Catty – I ♥ SU Kits.

Welcome to this week’s CASE-ing The Catty Sunday Challenge! I’m SUPER excited about this week’s Catalogue feature … Kits and Memories & More from both cattys. The CTC Design Team will showcase a project using any idea, colour combo, layout or just a stand-out feature from Stampin’ Up’s Kit or Memories & More images featured in the 2017 Holiday or Annual Catalogues.

I just LOVE kits. It really doesn’t matter what your level of experience is, kits suit casual stampers to avid crafters and everyone in between. The trick is, either use the instructions – or don’t! Sometimes I do, sometimes I go completely rouge and just use all the goodies to make something slightly/completely different. Kits are fantastic for travel, especially the all-inclusive ones. Throw in some snips & glue and you are ready to go.

I decided to make my own kit this week. I’ve been spending my weekends at our property, so kits are very handy when living out of a caravan! These are the 2 cards I CASEd

And here is my kit …

Final result ..

Once my cardstock, papers and embellishments were cut out, all I needed to bing in the van was Tombow glue, dimensionals, archival black ink and my Snowflake Sentiments stamp set. Easy as.

These simple designs are so quick to put together, they would suit a stamp-a-stack. You could make over 10 or 20+ in no time. Just change up your DSP background to give them a different look.

Thanks for checking in this week with the CASE-ing The Catty Sunday Challenge. We have so many ideas to sure with you. Next CTC Design Team member is Fi Cobbin.

See you back here next Sunday night!

  1. I love your kit. I love the colours you’ve chosen. And the simplicity is stunning. And how exciting to get some cardmaking done while you’re in the van! Great case!

  2. Fabulous CASE Krissy! Love how organised you are to make your kit to take with you! These colours look awesome!

  3. Great idea Krissy! Your finished cards are beautiful. I love the black & green colour combo this year. It’s somewhere between traditional & modern! Kelly x
