CASE-ing The Catty #88 – Everyday Occasions
Hi there! Welcome to this week’s blog hop – Everyday Occasions. We’re focusing on pages 66-91 of the Annual Catalogue, taking inspiration from Stampin’ Up catalogues designs. It could be the layout, colour combination, stamp set or just about anything that inspires your own creations.
This week I found a neat little design on page 70. Love the layout and thinlits, so that’s the base for my own creations.
These are the two cards I created…
The first card was created using shimmery white cardstock, the Stampin’ Spritzers and masks to cover areas. The grass is emerald envy with a dapper denim sky. The torn paper feature is adhered with dimensionals on both cards. Second card has splatters of smoky slate & melon mambo on watercolour paper (spritzed with a little water beforehand).
I’m pretty pleased with how they both turned out & I really think I could create so much more, so I will be continuing to explore this CASE in the next few weeks. If you are interested in recreating any of these colouring effects you’ll need these tools:
Next up is Rachel with her lovely shiny card. Be sure to check out the whole blog hop, we’ve got some inspiring cards to share with you.
Thanks again & I’ll see you next week! If you would like to submit your own project for this week’s challenge we’d love for you to join in here.
