CASE-ing The Catty Challenge #89 – Christmas
This week we are revisiting the Christmas section (pages 26 – 37) of the Stampin’ Up! 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. Although it was difficult for me at first, I eventually got into the Christmas spirit and CASEd a lovely card from page 29. I’m not too fussed on traditional Christmas colours and designs, so this image suited me quite well.
With my design I have also used the Stampin’ Spritzer (Sweet Sugarplum), however I have given the cardstock a lot more colour. My snow flakes have been embossed with white powder, and instead of the pretty washi tape I have used some dazzling diamonds glimmer paper. The first card is mounted on sweet sugarplum cardstock, and the second I’ve used thick whisper white CS.
Overall I was quite pleased with the spiritzed effect. It’s so much softer than solid sugarplum cardstock which works well for this particular design. I will admit though, the lighting on the photo isn’t really doing my card justice but you get that sometimes.
