Pals Paper Arts Challenge #287 - A Colour Challenge from Katy McGloin
I'm back and feeling good about it! Had a tough one last week, so I gave all my usual challenges a miss. However, I'm super excited to make Pals Paper Arts #287 my first challenge for this week! As you can see, Katy has chosen three awesome colours. I often use Lost Lagoon in my projects but I rarely used Old Olive & Calypso Coral so I'm really happy to be having a go. Here is what I came up with! ...
For this one I've actually left out a sentiment. I think you could write a thank you, birthday or mother's day message. Quite easy to put together, the only real tip I have for you on this one is an AWESOME tip from my Stampin' Up Upline Liz Gross: use a hole punch on the cardstock underneath where you want your ribbon's knot to sit. Thread one end up through the hole, bring the ribbon across the front of your card and back up through the hole. With each end on either side of the ribbon, tie your knot or bow. You'll notice the knot/bow sits well and quite flat which is great for postage. How wonderful is that!! Give this a go and believe me, you'll never look back!
