Stampin’ Up! April #OnStage2016

As you may already know, Stampin’ Up held their 6 monthly OnStage Demonstrator’s convention last weekend. This amazing event is held simultaneously in a number of locations all around the world. My fellow CQ Paperlovers Crew and I attended the Gold Coast OnStage local event, and can I just mention it was an awesome weekend!!!

Before I get started, I really need to say this..

If you love Stampin’ Up! Products and/or you are an avid crafter looking for quality craft supplies; sign up to become a Stampin’ Up! Independent Demonstrator. This doesn’t mean selling pressure from corporate, it doesn’t mean you have to hold demonstrations in the homes of strangers if you’re not comfortable with that. Becoming a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator means you get to become a part of something that is just so wonderful! If your days are already full, become a demonstrator to take advantage of the demonstrator-only discount and save money buying your own craft supplies. Let’s say you have an order to put through for various items, if that order is up to or around $169 AUD (the price of signing up) then you can sign up and receive $235 AUD worth of goodies instead! You can of course build up your business and make a living sharing your crafty talent and Stampin’ Up!’s fantastic products. You can choose to have an online ordering website where your customers can purchase direct from Stampin’ Up, or not. It’s really up to you what you do with your Demonstrator title. There are just SO many reasons to sign up, keeping reading and I’ll show you one of the very best.

So, this brings us back to April #OnStage local. Remember, OnStage is ONLY for Demonstrators. What an amazing day! Doors opened at about 7:30am on the Saturday morning and when we arrived there was only a very short line up to collect our highly anticipated canvas bags. Bag-of-joy in hand, we proceeded to the conference room to find a good seat! It’s quite difficult to find the words to describe how exciting the day really is.  We sat down, ooh’d & ahhhh’d over the goodies in our canvas bag, said hello to other demonstrators, people exchanged their wonderful swaps, and then settled in for the ‘show’! There were presentations from fellow demonstrators, video footage from OnStage Live in Salt Lake City, acknowledgement for high achievers, business tips, and so much information on what’s coming up in the new catalogue. THEN of course, we all received a copy of the brand new 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue, not released to the public until June 1st!!!! Now I can’t show you what’s inside, but I can share the cover with you! Look closely and you might find some exciting colours & images.

Just fantastic. Love it. So many gorgeous new stamps, and paper, and thinlits dies, ribbon, washi and punches. WOW! On the day we also had a chance to play with some of these new Catalogue items with our own Make & Take’s. Lastly, to top off all of that – PRIZE PATROL. We all won a couple more stamps sets and other bits & pieces!!

Would you like to see everything I received on the day??

The prize patrol stamp sets were given out using the various colour badges found in our canvas bags, which meant there were a number different stamp sets around the room. (Super handy that my friends and I had different colour badges, we’ll be catching up in the next couple of weeks for a Stamp & Share afternoon. Stay tuned for that post!!) My badge is Peekaboo Peach – what? You haven’t heard of that colour before?? That’s right – one of the NEW 2016-2018 InColours! I bet you are wondering what the other colours are. As your ever-helpful demonstrator please allow me assist you with that! …

Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo, Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum. So pretty! You’ll have to excuse my photo quality for now, will attempt to update this with better lighting.

To sum it all up, OnStage is ALWAYS worth the trip!! If you have been thinking about becoming a demonstrator to earn extra cash, or just to buy the products you love for less, NOW IS THE TIME!!! The next OnStage has been announced for November this year AND Brisbane will be the VERY lucky host city for Stampin’ Up’s OnStage LIVE!!! If you thought OnStage local sounds exciting? … Times that by at least 10!!

I’ll be posting more April OnStage images & information in the coming days so please come back and check out my sneak peaks from the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue!

P.S I’ll leave you with this (from our table centre piece!)
